    Hydrolyzes certain amino acid conjugates of the plant growth regulator indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), including IAA-Ala, IAA-Leu, IAA-Met, IAA-Phe, IAA-Ser, IAA-Thr, IAA-Tyr and IAA-Val. Is the most efficient enzyme of the ILL family for IAA-Ala. Not important for IAA-Leu hydrolysis in roots. May act with ILR1 to provide free IAA to germinating seedlings.
