ADGRG1

ADGRG1 is a gene encoding a protein named adhesion G protein-coupled receptor G1 or G protein-coupled receptor 56 (GPR56) in humans. The encoded protein is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family and regulates brain cortical patterning. It binds specifically to transglutaminase 2, a component of tissue and tumor stroma implicated as an inhibitor of tumor progression.
