It is produced in the rabbit immunized with a partial recombinant protein mapping within 2-356 amino acids of the Penaeus monodon AK. It exhibits the unconjugated IgG isoform. Its purity reaches up to 95% using protein G purified. This AK antibody has been validated for use in ELISA and WB applications. And it only reacts with Penaeus monodon Ak, an enzyme that primarily catalyzes the reversible phosphorylation of arginine to phosphoarginine. This process plays a critical role in the maintenance of high-energy phosphates in the muscle tissue of Penaeus monodon.
