Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

功能:Involved in organellar RNA editing. Required for the processing of numerous RNA editing sites in mitochondria and plastids. Binds to the plastid RARE1 factor, a pentatricopeptide repeat-containing protein involved in RNA editing.

- Results support the model that specific combinations of MORF and MEF proteins are involved in RNA editing in plant mitochondria. The MEF10 protein interacts with multiple organellar RNA editing factor 8 (MORF8) but not with other mitochondrial MORF proteins in yeast two hybrid assays. [MORF8] PMID: 23288601
- Data show that the presence RIP1 (At3g15000.1) in a protein complex with chloroplast editing factor RARE1 (At5g13270.1) indicates that RIP1 is an important component of the RNA editing apparatus that acts on many chloroplast and mitochondrial C targets. PMID: 22566615
